A young curious mermaid exploring the shore.  The first of a possible series.  And I'm messing around with a story.  Of course, it was inspired by my preschooler who loves to pretend to be a mermaid.

The Edge of Imagination

This is a digitally painted self portrait.  

As I perch on the edge of possibility, I long for my imagination to take flight.

  Like Dumbo, maybe all I need is a magical feather so I have the faith to take the leap.
